With Dé, the iconic interplay of light and shadow – known as chiaroscuro – from Ann Demeulemeester’s fashion aesthetic is translated into fine porcelain tableware. The result is a poetic collection of shadow painting on delicate ceramics.

Each piece features hand-painted gradient edges (dégradé), applied in multiple fine layers to create a precise harmony of lines. This artisanal craftsmanship ensures that every cup and plate is unique and allows for endless mix-and-match styling.

Plates and cups can be arranged individually to suit the guest, the mood, or the dish – creating striking visual effects, especially when the shaded edges interact with light and with each other.
