Belgian fashion designer Kris Van Assche created the Josephine collection for Serax — an ode to his beloved grandmother Joséphine. She was the one who passed on his love not only of fashion but of a beautifully laid table. Van Assche brings a forgotten object back to life: the bonbonnière, a decorative lidded jar for sweets and small treasures. He achieves this through a contemporary touch. This cult object is crafted in materials ranging from concrete and marble to silver-plated porcelain and, here, transparent glass. In short, an exceptionally refined object for the table, the console or a bedroom dresser.
